Technical Impacts was founded by Carole Hussey in 2002 as a Technology Consulting firm. In 2005, Technical Impacts became certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE).

While initially offering the traditional array of technology consulting services, it became apparent to us that our customers needed more than that. They needed guidance with higher level, strategic planning aspects of managing their business and corresponding technology solution decisions. As a result, we began to offer Strategic Business Planning, Internet Marketing, and Vendor Management services. In 2009, Technical Impacts established an advisory board to further assess the market needs relative to Management and Technology Consulting. Leading that charge, is Al Kuebler, a successful management consultant who has provided service all over the world for companies like AT&T Universal Card, Citigroup, ABN AMBRO, Alcatel, and McGraw-Hill.
